ANNUAL REMEMBRANCE OF THE BATTLE OF ADWA AND YEKATIT 12 ON MARCH 4, 2023

To mark the anniversary of these two important periods in history, ECMAA held a joint commemoration virtually on March 4, 2023. Renowned scholars and subject matter experts presented on these historical periods and discussions will follow.

SENIORS GET TOGETHER ON JULY 23, 2022
Older community members got together at Lalibela Restaurant in Harlem for lunch and a stroll in Central Park.

An advisory council member and realtor, Tezeta “Tez” Roro, led a workshop discussing the challenges and solutions to Black homeownership to commemorate Juneteenth and in honor of June being homeownership month
  SUMMER KICKOFF ON JUNE 11, 2022 We kicked off the summer with games, a reading of My Uncles an Alien by board member, Tiberah Berhanu, and crafts in Sakura Park

ECMAA welcomed Spring with a well attended ECMAA fitness day.
